CAROL'S PROMISE SICKLE CELL FOUNDATION
About 100,000 people in the United States have sickle cell disease. Most of them are African - Americans. There's no cure for most people with sickle cell disease. Therefore Carol's Promise Sickle Cell Foundation is bringing awareness to the world about this dreadful disease.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE
SICKLE CELL BLOOD DRIVE PROGRAM
ONE STEP AT A TIME
Many Sickle Cell patients rely on blood transfusions to manage the disease and stay healthy. Carol’s Promise has bi-annual Blood Drives with the Carter BloodCare to donate blood to patients in need.

SICKLE CELL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
HELPING THE COMMUNITY
We award a scholarships to students with Sickle Cell Disease, Sickle Cell Trait or medical students that plan to attend college and study the disease. Students would need to apply and keep a satisfactory GPA
SICKLE CELL SUMMER CAMP
ONE STEP AT A TIME
We provide "Carol's Camp Bags" full of essential items for the campers.

SICKLE CELL SUPPORT GROUP
REINFORCING OUR COMMITMENT
These are held quarterly and allows people with Sickle Cell to talk to other people that share the same struggles. You can vent, cry or share best pain management tips.
